Paying for your health insurance ahead of a premium increase can be a great way to save in the long term!

Here’s your prepay info ahead of the delayed 2023 increase:

• How much can I prepay?

• What’s the prepay deadline?

• How can I check when I’m paid up to?

You can prepay your cover for up to 12 months via a one-off manual payment. Also, the maximum amount you can pay is 12 months from the payment date. It’s up to you how much of the 12-month maximum you lock in before the next premium increase.

Here are the steps:

Use the Online Member Services premium calculator to check how much to pay up to a given date, or how far a given dollar amount will take you.

Here’s how:

• Log in
• Go to Payments
• Click Premium calculator
• Either Calculate amount or Calculate date
• Click Calculate.

You can pay by credit card or BPAY via Online Member Services. Here’s how:

• Log in
• Go to Payments

Credit card

• Select Pay by credit card
• Enter Payment amount
• Select Card type
• Enter Card number
• Enter Card name
• Enter Card security code
• Enter Card expiry date (by selecting the date and month)
• Accept Credit card declaration
• Click Submit.

BPAY

• Select Pay by BPAY.

Member Care Counters

• Payments can also be made at our Surry Hills or Parramatta Health Centres up to 4.45pm on 29 September 2023.

It depends on how you usually pay your premiums – here are the key dates:

Direct debit

You’ll need to make your one-off payment at least a week before your next scheduled direct debit.

If your next scheduled direct debit is on or after 29 September we need to receive your one-off payment by 26 September (8pm). How to make a payment

Once your payment has gone through, future direct debits will be paused until you reach your new paid-to date.

Credit card or BPAY

If you pay by either of these methods, please make your payment by:

• • BPAY: 29 September (6pm)
  • Credit card: 30 September (9pm)

Around three business days after prepaying, you check your paid-to date via Online Member Services:

• Go to My membership
• Click Cover details
• See Paid-to date.
