Student dependants and non-student dependants

Dependants aged 21+ can now be on your family membership until they turn 32, provided they aren’t married or in a de-facto relationship.

Your dependant can stay on your family membership at no extra cost to you if they’re studying full-time. If they’re not studying and aged 21-31, Extended Family Cover is an option.

Dependants with a disability

These changes also allow us to remove the age limit for dependants with a disability. We’re looking at how to best implement this and will share updates with our members when we can.
