How can I claim for Extras?
Depending on the service, and provider, you could claim via:
1. HICAPS
If your provider has a HICAPS terminal, ask them to swipe your UniHealth membership card. If your claim’s approved, you’ll only pay the difference between what you get from us (your benefit) and the total cost.
2. UniHealth app
- Tap Claims
- Tap Submit claim
- Attach Receipt(s)
- Tap Next
- Add Reference (if required)
- Tap Next
- Tick Email receipt box (if required)
- Tick Declaration box
- Tap Submit claim

- Log in
- Click Submit claim (top right)
- See How to claim
- Click Next
- Attach Receipt(s)
- Click Next
- Add Reference (if required)
- Click Next
- Tick Email receipt box (if required)
- Tick Declaration box
- Click Submit claim
4. Claim form
Complete a claim form, attach your receipt(s) and submit via:
- Email: submitclaim@unihealthinsurance.com.au
- Post: UniHealth, GPO Box 9812, Sydney NSW 2001
- In person: at the Surry Hills or Parramatta Member Care Centre
