Looking after the little, and not so little, ones

From birth through to the age of 20, it’s pretty straightforward. Add a dependant to your membership and they can stay on it until they turn 21.

Dependants aged 21+ can be on your membership until they turn 32, provided they aren’t married or in a de-facto relationship. How you achieve this depends on whether they’re a full-time student, trainee, apprentice, intern or cadet, or not.

At some point, they’ll need to strike out on their own, but you can help them make informed decisions about their (health insurance-related) future.

Aged 0 - 20

From cherubic newborns through to sullen teens, we’ve got you covered.

21 - 31 (studying full-time)

If they’re single and studious you can cover them as a student dependant.

21 - 31 (not studying)

Introducing Extended Family Cover*, your ticket to covering (single) under-32s.

Turning 32 or coupled-up

Once they hit 32, get married or go de facto it’s time to talk next steps.
